The weather conditions for netball were atrocious with strong winds watching potential goals be blown away.

But the Redeyes were impressive in the windy conditions with their defence standing tall against the well drilled attackers of Strathmerton.

Blighty’s shooters were accurate in the trying conditions, moving them to six wins and sitting one game clear on top of the ladder.

Final score, Blighty 44 to Strathmerton 37.

Awards: Rhiannan Maxwell, Chelsea McNamara and Georgia Bradford.

Blighty’s B grade was unable to overcome reigning premier Strathmerton, going down by seven goals.

The Redeyes showed great effort in defence bringing the ball down the court while the shooters had a good game too despite the challenge of the wind.

Final score, Strathmerton 29 to Blighty 22.

Blighty left their comeback too late in C reserve, falling short by one goal.

Under 17s - Strathmerton 36 to Blighty 13. Awards: Audrey James, Ashleigh Simpson, Kelsey Hislop and Emmaline Weir.

U15s - Blighty 42 to Strathmerton 5. Awards: Isabella McIlwain, Bridie Blake, Karla Nichols and Sarah Hanmer.

U13s - Blighty 26 to Strathmerton 17. Awards: Erica Nicholas, Kate Westcott, Stevie Bateman and Sophie Murray.

U11s awards: Dakota McKenzie, Katy Grady and Lizzie Muldoon.
